General context of the project
The Learning & Development Unit is the entity, within the Human Resource Department, that facilitates and promotes the implementation of the Learning & Development policy and related SOPs in the Organization, at Headquarters level and at Mission level. The Personnel Development Coordinator is the only function currently in the Unit. Among the "Learning" sector activities directly managed by the Unit there are: the monthly General Standard Induction; the "R.O.L.E." for HQ roles, HoM, CFC and other relevant senior positions; the promotion and standardisation of the Induction at Mission level; the organization, promotion and monitoring of any "S.C.A.L.E.-UP"; the implementation of "People Management" training and the promotion, organization and implementation of Capacity Building Plans for individuals. The latter, can be considered already a "Development" sector activity. Regarding this sector, the L&D Unit is taking care of the Staff Development in terms of identification of talents, promotion of career development and facilitation of retention, which is calculated every year by the L&D Unit. The L&D Unit is constantly coordinating with Recruitment Unit, Area HR Coordinators and the Learning & Development Team, made of one Focal Point for each Department/Unit.
The position is covered by an Extracurricular internship agreement, according to the conditions set by Regione Lazio.
General purpose of the position
The Learning & Development Assistant supports the Personnel Development Coordinator in the organization and implementation of the L&D activities at Headquarters level and Mission level.
Main responsibilities and tasks
Promotion and facilitation of monthly General Standard Induction;
Promotion and facilitation of R.O.L.E.;
Promotion and facilitation of specific technical training through the application of the L&D Policy in Missions abroad;
Promotion and facilitation of Retention Rate monitoring activities;
Participation in coordination activities: L&D Team, Department bilaterals, IT weekly meetings;
Monitoring of online forms dedicated to training needs (Section 6 of the Internal Review Process) and their analysis.
Any other task related to the L&D processes and KPIs.
Required profile and experience
Education
Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field such as Psychology or Sociology
Professional Experience
Previous experience in Human Resources highly desirable
Previous experience in HR in humanitarian sector is an asset
Professional Requirements
